Hans has a wide range of expertise and experience in the banking industry, both with the local and foreign banks in China. He was with HSBC (China) for about 9 years and 5 years with the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), one of the China’s Big 5 commercial banks. Prior to being a consultant, he served as the Director of Performance Development Center for Fullerton Financial Holding (China). He started his professional management training and consulting as the Account and Strategic Planning Manager with the American Management Association (AMA, China), one of the world’s top 20 leadership training organization.

 

Hans improved the holistic training system for the HSBC Academy by shortening the induction cycle, resulting in better training results and improved staff performance. He also contributed in learning system design and in the development of a management trainee and talent management program for the bank.

 

While working in AMA (China), he helped manage the customer relationship by providing highly effective training solutions to American global companies, starting and developing business in China. This experience provided him with the global insights and professional competency for the training & consultancy business.

 

During his stint at the ABC, Hans succeeded in promoting and implementing the credit risk management system on a branch level while building up a business team to develop trade financing as their core business. For his contribution in both the business development and risk control systems, he was selected to be their first batch member of branch manager candidates.

 

Since 2012, Hans is the Senior Partner consultant of i-Path Consulting Co. and the Associate Senior Passionary, Meta Consulting, by providing both leadership and organizational development programs in the areas of sales and service, team leadership and company transformation for financial and non-financial clients like Bank of China, Guangfa Bank, Bank of Communication, Platinum Global International, Bosch, G4S(China), Oriental-Citi Security etc.

 

He had also gone through Meta Train-the-Trainer program to deliver courses in Customer Service, Team Leadership, and Conflict Management. He also helped translated Dr John Ng’s books, Dim Sum Leadership and part of Smiling Tiger, Hidden Dragon…Managing Conflict @ Home and Work. He is currently serving as consultant with customer-centric transformation for Sunway Tianjin.
